Jon Sterckx is a percussionist with 30+ years playing experience. He studied tabla in India and the UK between 1994 – 2006. Jon has performed twice at the global TED events, at WOMAD Festival & at most of the UK’s major world music events. As an educator, Jon was an Associate Lecturer at University of Plymouth from 2003-2017 and has delivered tuition and workshops at schools, colleges & universities for over 20 years. He has been a tutor and mentor for South West Music School since 2016 and leads a weekly percussion ensemble at Pates’s Grammar School, Cheltenham. More info: https://www.jonsterckx.co.uk
